"This is a great program. I think there are many advantages to the Food Cycler for Mackenzie (and all northern communities). First, composting in the winter is very challenging given how long winter is and the amount of snow to clear to get to your compost. Second, the large number of black bears that come during harvest time make it difficult to compost many things such as fruit cores"
Cost
Food Cycler FC-30 Retail Cost $500: Through the pilot program $150 + Tax.
Food Cycler Eco 5 (Maestro) Retail Cost $800: Through the pilot program $300 + Tax.
*2023 prices may have a slight change, prices will be confirmed prior to order.
