Surplus Items
When the District is disposing of surplus goods, these items are posted for for public viewing and available for bidding.
Bidding
Where to Place Bids: Bidding will take place at the Public Works office. Tender sheets used to submit bids will be available at the Public Works office.
Bidding Starts: 12:00 pm June 10th, 2024
Bidding Ends: 4:00 pm June 26th, 2024
Only successful bidders will be notified. Payments must be in cash, certified cheque, debit or credit card and payment must be made to the Finance Department prior to taking ownership. All items are subject to PST and GST. A contract of sale of goods will be issued. Deadline for payment is 4:00 pm July 5th, 2024.
Item Pick-up: All items are located in Mackenzie, BC. Off-site delivery or shipping will not be arranged. All items are sold as is where is. Following payment and purchase agreement signing, items must then be removed off site as soon as possible, and must be moved by one week, before July 12th, 2024.
Equipment Viewing: Viewings must be arranged by appointment only. Viewing times are made by appointment between 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm Monday - Friday, excluding statutory holidays. To arrange an appointment to view the equipment, please contact Public Works at 250-997-3761.
